Assignment Overview:

The purpose of this assignment is to assess your understanding of the legal, regulatory, and governance frameworks relevant to cybersecurity. You are required to choose and analyze a business case study of your choice and provide a comprehensive report outlining the legal and regulatory issues, as well as governance recommendations to mitigate cybersecurity risks.

Assignment Details:

Choose your own Business Case Study:

You are required to choose your own Business case study detailing a cybersecurity incident in a fictional organization. The Business case study should include information about the organization, the nature of the cyber-attack, the legal and regulatory implications, and the governance structure of the organization.

Assignment Tasks:

• Analyze the case study to identify the legal and regulatory issues relevant to the cybersecurity incident.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the organization's governance structure in addressing cybersecurity risks.
• Develop recommendations for improving the organization's governance framework to enhance cybersecurity resilience.

Deliverables:

A written report addressing the above tasks. The report should be well-organized, clearly written, and supported by relevant references to legal and regulatory frameworks.

Submission Guidelines:

The written report should be between One thousand five hundred-Two Thousand words, excluding references and appendices.

Assessment Criteria:
