Edit the rest of the file to change the analysis from what we walked through in the main class video to accomplish the following:
Conduct a 1-way MANOVA where you test for differences on EmotionIntell (Emotional Intelligence where the higher the score the greater the emotional intelligence) and IntroExtScre (Introversion/Extroversion Score, where the higher the score the more extroverted) across 4 Occupations (Sales, Research, Lawyer, PowerDistrib).
In addition to changing data set names, and variable references, you will need to make changes to lines 70 and 72. In both of those lines there is a reference to the dep_matrix (the matrix of dependent variables created earlier) that reads: Dep_matrix[ ,1:3] which tells R to take all rows of Dep_matrix and columns 1-3. In fact, there need not be a reference to the columns since that is all the columns in the matrix but this code would allow you to examine just a subset of the columns, if you so wished. For this assignment, either change it to 1:2, since there are only 2 DVs or delete the brackets and numbers all together, and R will simply use the whole matrix (which, again, if fine in this assignment).
You will see that the code finds 3 outliers; these are, in fact, pretty minor and I do not want you to delete them; conduct your analysis including all 109 observations in the data.
Also, the data is large enough to be robust to deviations from normality; in other words, do not be concerned about any deviations from normality you find.
Skip over lines 75, 76, and 77. If you do wish to look at the descriptive statistics for each group you will need to add two more lines like 76/77 since this assignment has 4 groups formed by the factor, not 2 as in the HBAT example.
End after any required univariate follow-up testing.
Also bear in mind that the HBAT example involved 3 DVs not 2 as in this assignment so as you adapt the script file to this assignment, you will not need 3 chunks of code to conduct univariate analysis as in the original file, only 2. And since there are only 2 DVs, the specified alpha level for the follow-up tests also needs to be adjusted (set it equal to 1-(0.05/(# of DVs being evaluated in total))
