required to measure items $1$ to $9$ below in accordance with the pertinent pages of the SMM $7-$ having

earlier read pages $11$ to $15$ inclusive. You are also required to submit items $10$&$11$ as part of this

Assignment.

The drawing is not to scale. You are required to use "Dimension Paper" $-$ Pg$.4$ sample further below, to

complete the Assignment.

Include a cover sheet with your name and USID number and any other pertinent information. You are to

also include a Contents page.

Your submission is to be in PDF format.

Complete the measurement of the following, including taking off and providing the pertinent information,

including notes and waste calculations in the appropriate Timesing, Dimension, Squaring and Description

Columns;

Excavation of top soil for preservation;

a$.$ remove top soil $150$mm deep and place in spoil heaps on site

The excavation of foundation trenches starting at Reduced level, including;

a$.$ dispose of excavated material from site and backfill with excavated material

b$.$ treatment to bottom of foundation

c$.$ any required earthwork support

The $225$mm cavity brickwork wall up to and including the $($dpc$)$ damp proof course $-$ single layer

heskian based bituminous felt to BS $743$ ref A$.$ Allow in the outer skin for four $(4)$ courses of

facework brickwork at basic price $$($x$)/(1000)$ delivered to site, directly below the dpc$.$ Common bricks

in cement mortar $(1$:$3)$ mix

Concrete cavity filling $(1$:$6)$ mix

Any required protection of the site from water from any source

$200$mm thick hardcore filling and any treatment required

DPM mastic asphalt to BS $1418$ in $3$ coats.

$100$mmm thick concrete floor $(1$:$2$:$4)$ mix with Standard fabric reinforcement to BS $4483$ ref A$193$

with $150$mm laps.

Provide a reference sheet and identify which section of the SMM $7$ that was used to measure each

item $(1-9)$ herein above.
