Read the What Would You Do? scenario below and write a response in which you clearly detail the actions that should be taken to address the conflict issues.

Organizational Conflict

You work for Joaquin Peace Keepers, a non-profit organization providing humanitarian aid to members of society in need due to war, disasters, displacement, and other events impacting human existence. Your job title is assistant manager of international assistance. Recently, the CEO of the organization Mack Hilaly called an emergency meeting to discuss sending humanitarian aid to Palestine and Israel due to the recent war issues. However, one group of employees objected to sending humanitarian aid to Palestine and another group of employees objected to sending humanitarian aid to Israel. The objections led to shouting, hateful words exchanged, threats, and chaos and pandemonium. Mack called security to remove employees from both groups from the office and secured the environment. Later, Justice Sienna, the human resources director informed Mack that both groups were now demonstrating in front of the organization's building. The demonstration became violent, and the police were called. Mack later received an e-mail from both groups demanding that he take sides with either Palestine or Israel. Both groups made it clear that members of each group would resign if Mack and the organization did not side with their group. Mack asked you how he should handle the conflict.
