Question: Instructions : Sketch some processes in three pV diagrams . For each diagram it just has to to look qualitatively correct. No numbers or calculations
Instructions:
- Sketch some processes in three pV diagrams.
- For each diagram it just has to to look qualitatively correct. No numbers or calculations are needed.
- sketch all 3 diagrams on 1 piece of paper and take a picture/screenshot and upload.
- Label each process on the diagrams (i.e. label the isothermal, label the constant p...)
Sketch 1: Two processes
- First is a constant volume process where the pressure is reduced
- Second is an isothermal expansion.
Sketch 2: Three processes
- First is a constant pressure volume reduction
- Second is an adiabatic expansion
- Third is an isothermal expansion
Sketch 3: Four processes in a CLOSED LOOP
- choose 4 processes that can form a close loop (i.e. it ends up where it started)
- use at least 3 different processes
