Instructions:

• Sketch some processes in three pV diagrams.
• For each diagram it just has to to look qualitatively correct. No numbers or calculations are needed.
• sketch all 3 diagrams on 1 piece of paper and take a picture/screenshot and upload.
• Label each process on the diagrams (i.e. label the isothermal, label the constant p...)

Sketch 1: Two processes

• First is a constant volume process where the pressure is reduced
• Second is an isothermal expansion.

Sketch 2: Three processes

• First is a constant pressure volume reduction
• Second is an adiabatic expansion
• Third is an isothermal expansion

Sketch 3: Four processes in a CLOSED LOOP

• choose 4 processes that can form a close loop (i.e. it ends up where it started)
• use at least 3 different processes
