Write a report explaining your experiment. The report must be in essay format, and must include the following sections:

• Title (2 points)
• The list of equipment used. (3 points)
• Procedure (5 points)
• Results (Explain what your observations and include photos and/or videos)(5 points)
• Discussion/conclusion (4 points)
• References. (1 point)

Use photos and/or videos to demonstrate the results. Attach the report as a Word document. Photos must be copied to the report. Videos can be attached separately.

Certain objects, when rubbed together, transfer electrons from one to another. One object becomes negatively charged, while the other becomes positively charged. Like charges repel, and unlike charges attract. When a charged object is moved closer to a small object, an attraction or repulsion can be seen between the objects.

Design a simple experiment to show the attraction and repulsion caused by static electricity. Follow the above instructions and write a report.

Choose two objects to transfer charges by rubbing them together. Once you have a charged object, move it closer to other smaller objects (for example, tiny bits of paper, hair strands) and see if there's an attraction or repulsion. What objects show attraction? What objects show repulsion? Show the results by using photos and /or videos. Photos and videos must be taken by you, or you must be on the photos/videos. Do not use photos and videos found online.

Format of a Lab Report Title: (Include an Appropriate Title) Equipment: List the equipment used. Procedure: In this paragraph, explain how you preformed the experiment. You can add photos and or videos as extra. Make sure videos are viewable on the Word document. If not attach the videos separately. Results: In this paragraph, explain your observations. Add photographs (or videos.) Make sure videos are viewable on the Word document. If not attach the videos separately. Discussion & Conclusion: In this paragraph, explain the physics concepts related to your observations. Write your final conclusion. References: If it is a website, give the link. If it is a book, give the title, author and the page numbers. If you have no references, write "no references'. There must be references if you refer to a book, a website etc. for ideas. Check the report for typographical and grammatical errors. See if the photos are visible, and videos are accessible. After you submit the assignment, double check if everything is readable
