International M&A analysis

Each student will submit a paper, minimum 1500 words, where a Student will choose one of the international mergers, investigate the successes and failures of the undertaking, and examine the role of culture.

Sections to cover:

1. Introduction of the companies

2. Reasons for the merger

3. Consequences of the merger

4. Analysis of the alliance (success or failure)

5. The role culture played in the merger

Grading criteria:

1. Structure - logical division of the text into Intro, Body and Conclusion with mentioning all the required sections

2. Description clear, non-ambiguous, professional language, not just copy and paste from the sources, in-text citationsand references

3. Analysis - depth and quality of Students own thoughts on the merger at hand
