International Trade questions

(A) The GATT Part IV (Articles XXXVI - XXXVIII) provisions on 'trade and development' are generally regarded as 'hortatory', non-binding and offering little or no benefits to developing countries. Do you agree? Giver reasons for your answer.

(B) Referring to any Caribbean country of your choice, discuss: (i) any SPS issues which have been raised by foreign markets, in the area of agricultural products and (ii) any CARICOM initiative which has been developed to deal with SPS issues on a regional basis.
