This method involves evaluating the effectiveness of planned interventions and determining whether certain aspects of the plan need to be adjusted to ensure they are meeting the ever-changing needs of the population that it is being directed towards. Another method involves predicting post-funding sustainability of the program and the supporting resources that are needed to ensure long-term success of the program (Tibbits et al., 2010). This is an essential component of evaluating evidence-based interventions because finances play an important aspect in influencing the successful adoption of a planned change. For instance, a company that runs out of funding for establishing a new program will be forced to stop the changes enacted with the program initiation, which would negatively impact the longevity of the requested plans. Both of these methods would need to be used to address the nutrition education intervention programs that are outlined within my project plan because the financial aspects and targeted audience approval will influence how successful the program is over the long term.
