For this assignment, you will interview a manager. You will then write a short paper describing the responses from your interview. You will use Zoom $($or an alternative$)$ to interview a manager. You will record your interview and provide a video and audio link. If you choose to do the interview face$-$to$-$face, you need to find a way to record the interview and provide the recording $($audio and video$)$ to your course professor.

The purpose of this paper is to use the manager's responses and make a connection to the coursework that you have learned throughout the semester. The manager's responses should include the textbook's concepts, theories, and theorists $-$ you only need two references: personal communication with your manager and the textbook $($no other references are needed for this assignment$).$ The way to connect your manager$$s responses is to focus on the common themes from the interview and connect these common themes to the course textbook.

Each student$$s interview is expected to last at least $30$ minutes. The interview questions are designed to help you meet this minimum requirement.

The manager you choose is very important, so choose carefully. It is recommended that you do not interview your own immediate manager or supervisor, as this can create an uncomfortable situation for you both. It is best to interview someone outside your own workplace. Approvals are needed if you cannot work outside these parameters.

You will prepare a five $(5)$ page paper, double$-$spaced, in Arial $11$ font, describing your findings. The paper will be a research paper that links the manager$$s common themes and applies those themes to the textbook$$s concepts, theories, and theorists. This research paper has three $(3)$ deliverables: you will turn in your field notes $($notes taken during the interview$),$ post your interview link $($audio and video $$ one file$),$ and your paper.
