When I was young, I lived with my mother in an apartment in a town in the Southwest. At that time, things were not going well.  My mother struggled to pay the bills.  She had recently decided her new boyfriend, who didn't even have a job, would move into our apartment with us. The apartment was small. Home life was hard. I decided it was time for a change .The decision I made changed the lives of my family members as well as my own.
