Introduction An effective and efficient training plan is crucial for the success of an organization and its employees This presentation will explain the training needs analysis that is used by the training department within the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) It will describe the process for obtaining needs for employees, groups, and the wider skills for the organization It will then assess the effectiveness of three courses that are utilized by the FAA Each evaluation will cover the adult learning theories that are evident in the courses, the well- defined and quantifiable training objectives and training outcomes of each course, and it will determine if the course objectives are aligned with the organizational strategic goals and objectives Each evaluation will explain the training delivery approaches, determine if the courses integrate varied learning styles, and determine what level of evaluation is used to gauge the effectiveness of the training
