- Provide an overview of the corporation to include but not limited to, when and how it was incorporated, the specific interest (industry) of the corporation, its size, region(s) of operation and strength in the market.
- Examine the corporation's financials for the last two years. Discuss the corporation's profitability and whether the corporation has a competitive advantage.
- Discuss the impact the fluctuating (Canadian) dollar has had (or not had) on profits for the last twelve months. Use a graph to illustrate the fluctuations against the foreign currency
- With information taken from the corporation's financial report (last 2 years), discuss how the corporation manages its exposure to foreign exchange rate risk. Discuss the types of exposures.
- Determine if the corporation has had any bond issuances recently (over the last two years). What were the terms? How much was raised? What were the funds used for (or meant to be used for?)
- Discuss how the recent increases in interest rates by the Bank of Canada have impacted the company and their the stock price for the last 12 months.
