In this simulation, you will learn about

in service, health care and manufacturing settings through the use of important quality analytics related to

statistical process control

process capability and

the cost of quality

You will manage processes that may occasionally produce items that are defective. Defective items discovered in$-$house$$known as internal defects$$are either scrapped or repaired. Defects found by consumers after they have purchased the product are known as external defects.

The simulation is divided into four challenges illustrating $1)$ how to calculate control limits$,2)$ how to use control limits in real time to maintain control of a process, $3)$ how to analyze control charts post hoc to determine whether or not a process is capable, and $4)$ how to make managerial investments in order to minimize the total cost of quality.
