Introduction: There is a staged project in this course culminating in developing a strategic plan. This assignment is the first of four assignments toward that strategic plan. Before beginning this step, make sure to review Sections 1.2 and 1.5, as well as Chapter 2 , in Mastering Strategic Management. Also review the video, Starbuck's SWOT Analysis that was assigned in this module. Description: Identify a topic for your staged project. Briefly describe either the department in which you currently work or an organization you would someday like to create. This will be the setting you will use throughout this project for your strategic plan. Next, write mission and vision statements for this department or organization. While there is no expected length for these statements, bear in mind that they should be succinct and compelling in tone. Clearly mark the sections of your document for the "Topic Selection," "Mission Statement," and "Vision Statement
