Is the following paragraph a good response for when your Supervisor does not believe servant leadership is a good way to get work done.
Please don't hand write.
Thank you.
I would first find out whats the best way to communicate with him/her. There are four ways to communicate with a person: verbal, nonverbal, written, and visual. I can show research that has been done on servant leadership and the outcomes of it. If this doesnt work my next move will be to start using some of the techniques Ive learned. Keeping a journal or taking data should help prove my case as well. I might even conduct recorded interviews with random employees that might have had issues with the way management was running the company. Once all my information is put together, I will resent it to him/her. At the time of our meeting, I will ask for his/her honest opinion after reviewing all the data from the job. If I still get the same response, I will have to go over their head to the next person in charge. If my supervisor is the head, then I will have to leave the company. My last words would be I cant work for a company thats not willing to change even after all this information has been presented to them. Improving management and making a workplace pleasant for all should be your number one goal. When you know better, you do better.
