Issues fall into three main categories. They are:

Current issues that require immediate action; Issues that are likely to require action in the near future, but can be handled as part of the organization$$s regular planning cycle; and, Issues that require no action at present, but need to continually monitored.

Task issues; maintenance issues; and learning issues

Strategic issues, communication issues and structural issues

Strengths, Weaknesses and Threats$/$Challenges
