It appears that we need to update the name with MD dept of revenue not Avalara.. Our sales tax account was inistally created in error. As you can see below, it's under the wrong name. For entity A, we had no actiivity since sept'23. we file zero return every month to make it as a placeholder to keep our sales tax account. There's no tax obligation,. The reason we kept it open becuase we had refund needs to claim from MD DOR. I was told we have two option to update the name. 1) Provide IRS confirmation of EIN 2) Send copr document.
