SCENARIO: Pick any Existing local restaurant in your Area. Imagine the restaurant needs some MAKE-OVER to make a fresh comeback after COVID Times. READ EACH AND EVERY POINT TWO TIMES DON'T MISS ANY INFORMATION

A. Choose any one of the following KIND Commercial Restaurant (NO INDIAN RESTAURANT)

  1. Chinese Restaurant
  2. American Fast food
  3. Coffee Shop
  4. Italian Restaurant

B. Give the following details about the Restaurant

  1. Name of the restaurant
  2. No of Covers served (how many people can be served in one time)
  3. Kind of cuisine served
  4. Type of Service (pre plated / on table service )
  5. No of Employees (only the details of service staff eg- servers, bar tender, manager , supervisor, buzz boy etc). this should be in relevance with the no of Covers you are serving.
  6. Picture of the present menu (or you can download the present menu from the web site as well

You can look up for this information on restaurants website or try and have a little conversation with the restaurant manager (PLEASE FOLLOW ALL SAFETY MEASURES IN YOUR AREA BEFORE REAACHING OUT OTHERS)

C. Keeping in mind the Covid situation list 5 safety measures you will implement in the following area for smooth day to day operations of this restaurant.

  • Kitchen Area

D. Menu Making (Make a new menu for this restaurant based on your study and reputation of the restaurant , no need of pricing )

  1. Detailed Menu including - appetizers,main course (veg and non veg options)and beverages. The Menu should not be more than 5 items in each category). you don't need to write the price of the items.
  2. Use your creativity while writing the menu, make artistic font size (just a hint you can make a designer menu on word document and copy paste on your PowerPoint.)
  3. Include one line description of the dishes is must. ( like we did before in the previous assignments in class.
  4. Please send another copy of the menu separately as well.
  5. Last make a COMMENT CARD for this restaurant with minimum 6 points to assess the quality and standard of food and service.
