Working in your groups complete and submit the following Assignment, related to your ongoing project (Document Delivery Pilot Project).
This assignment consists of 2 parts.
Part A: Risk Management Plan (40 points):
Develop a Risk Management Plan for the project, describing in detail the types of Risk Management Activities that will take place in the project for the risks and security threats you initially identified in your charter/scope document. You may include additional risks and security threats besides or instead of those initially identified, as you judge necessary. The contents of the Risk Management Plan must include the following items:
Title page with the names of your team members
Methodology (10 points): Description of Risk Management Activities for each of the processes in the Risk knowledge area (see pg 470 to 471 of the textbook) In this section of the plan, you should imagine what you would do, as the Project Manager, to conduct specific processes or other focused activities needed to define in detail the risks, security threats and opportunities that might be present in this project. Also describe what specific work you would need to include in the WBS or project schedule to assess, document, and prepare a practical contingency plans, and monitor the risks that could affect the success of the project. Remember that you have committed to a number of specific deliverables that had been requested by the client, so your risk management activities should be designed to assess, document, track, and report on all different types of risks that these particular deliverables might be exposed to.
Risk Breakdown Structure (10 points): Develop a list of risk categories and organize them in a Risk Breakdown Structure.
Risk Probability and Impact (5 points): How will the probabilities and impacts of risk items be accessed? What scoring and interpretation methods will be used for qualitative analysis of risks?

Part B: Risk Register (60 points)
Develop a Risk Register using the template provided.
Grading Guidelines:
(5 points) At least 5 negative risk items
(15 points) Quality of identified risks and the associated description. Risks must be specific to the project. Generic risks will not be counted. (10 points for description, 5 points for Root Causes)
(5 points) Sensible Triggers
(5 points) Appropriate probability, impact, and risk scores
(5 points) Sort risk items by risk scores
(15 points) Practicality of response strategies (5 points) and potential responses (10 points)
(5 points) Risk owners must be assigned to each risk
(5 points) Overall presentation
Up to 5 Bonus points for
Positive risks
More than 5 negative risks
