UNIT 2 INDIVIDUAL PROJECT

You will add entities that relate to the existing ones in the diagram below. Remember, each entity becomes a table when you build your database in your database management system.

The provided diagram above includes four entities, as follows:

• Department
• Product
• Employee
• Customer

You must decide what organization your diagram is for and then determine what two new entities must be added to your diagram to fit the needs of your organization (PREFERABLY MUSIC RELATED).

Accomplish the following:

1. Decide on an organization (PREFERABLY MUSIC RELATED) that you will design this database for.
2. If appropriate to your organization, add attributes to the existing entities.
3. Create 2 new entities that are appropriate for your organization.
4. Add appropriate relationships between the entities in the diagram.
   1. Remember to consider the optionality (is the relationship required or optional) and the cardinality (is the relationship one to one, one to many, or many to many).
5. Review your diagram, and make any adjustments needed to make the diagram compliant with the third normal form (3NF).
6. Screenshot your diagram.
7. Do the following:
   1. Discuss the entities that you added to the diagram
   2. Explain why these were appropriate for the organization that you chose
   3. Explain why your diagram meets the requirements for 3NF
