For this assignment, you are required to identify a research topic that is relevant to your core

discipline of study that you are specialising in $($for example if you are a Bachelor of commerce

approval from your lecturer that the topic falls within your specialisation field and that you may

You will not be able to start the assignment until you understand what we mean by "research" in

Introduction to Research, as you have probably understood the concept differently in previous

modules and assignments.

You will explain your topic, create a short, catchy title for the proposed research and describe the

background and context in which the research would take place. You will need to formulate and

present the research problem in such a way that the reader understands why this research is worth

doing and why it is a manageable, specific problem that has not been researched before. This will

require additional study and extensive reading. Once you have a well$-$developed research problem,
