Jenny suffers from cold hands and feet and she is getting tired and embarrassed about wearing gloves around the house - even in the summer time. Her physician refers her to a psychologist who is a specialist with this problem. The psychologist provides her a special thermometer that attaches to her finger like a ring - and she can see her temperature there whenever she looks. He then teaches her to relax and to focus on gradually raising her hand temperature. To her surprise after a few weeks she can do so.
