Jewish rituals and holy days/festivals

1. In your first post you need to summarize one of these holy days/festivals and outline the religious reasons for the holy day/festival along with the religious reasons for the various rituals undertaken during the holy day/festival that you summarize.

2. According to your sociological/anthropological point of view , describe one ritual within a culture or a religious tradition that marks a transition, provides purpose and identity, or is designed to recall prior sacrifices or past events and outline the emotions or feelings one is supposed to have during the ritual.
