Job Description: IT Technician

Reports to: Project Engineer

Overview:

Major Systems Corporation is a fast-growing IT service company that offers IT solutions to businesses.

The primary responsibility of an IT Technician is to provide support to the IT department.

Duties:

• Install computer hardware and software
• Monitor and maintain computer networks
• Provide support to staff and clients while setting up new applications
• Troubleshoot both hardware and software problems
• Replace parts and or carry out minor repairs in order to maintain systems
• Prioritize among several open cases of technical issues at a time
• Perform data backups on schedule
• Evaluate new technology to check suitability with existing technology
• Create documents and reports for various processes and procedures followed

Salary Range:

The starting salary range is $50,000-$70,000 per year.
