Project Coordinator Manufacturing Manager None January 2020 Summary of Responsibilities: The Project Coordinator is responsible for the successful completion of various customer manufacturing projects. This includes the evaluation and interpretation of project requirements in order to develop innovative and quality solutions to clients' needs. The Project Coordinator regularly communicates with the Manufacturing Manager in order to effectively manage clients' projects. Occasionally, the Project Coordinator provides technical support and input on troubleshooting on plant equipment and service issues. . . . . . . Duties and Responsibilities: Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects. Ensure full engagement with the client and updating them throughout the project. Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress, which is based off the order entry and work order documentation Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders. Establish and maintain relationships with third parties/vendors. Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans and documentation to be shared with clients as well as diher staff members. Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs. Develop and manage procurement packages for equipment and installation. Provide monthly progress and status reports to the Manager, Manufacturing on the status of project operations including the prioritization of project opportunities. Be involved with or responsible for client reporting, client concerns and corrective actions. Create and deliver qualified opportunities to Business Development Managers for larger opportunities. Provide technical support and guidance in troubleshooting machinery and equipment Provide input on new equipment decisions, installations, upgrades, redesigns, physical plant changes or repairs as required. Job Specifications: Education University Degree or College Diploma required, specializing in Technology or Engineering Required Knowledge Knowledge of plant operations specifically focusing on food production manufacturing processes. Basic knowledge of CFIA, FDA and USDA food equipment and design standards. Familiarity with food plant Good Manufacturing Processes (GMPs), area designations, clean design requirements and the impact to process and equipment layout designs. . . . .
