Joe worked as a window cleaner for Squeaky Clean Company. His employer frequently made his employees do cleaning jobs on high-rise buildings but his equipment that he used was old and badly needed replacing. On Monday, Joe was asked to work with a new employee, Toby, who had no experience doing window cleaning and had proven to be quite careless and playful. When Joe and Toby were cleaning a 10 storey-building, Toby started fooling around and caused the both of them to lose their balance. The harness which was used to hold them up too was old and gave way. They crashed to the floor and sustained injuries. Luckily, they were only a few metres above the ground when the incident happened and therefore no life-threatening injuries occurred. Advise Joe whether he will be able to sue his employer under Employment Law. Joe worked as a window cleaner for Squeaky Clean Company.
