Question: Juana is a 9 0 - year - old widow. Juana has three children who are 7 0 , 6 7 , and 6 0

Juana is a 90-year-old widow. Juana has three children who are 70,67, and 60 years old. The children have children and grandchildren of their own. Juana does not live near her children because they all moved around the country for their careers and Juana chose to remain at her home. As a result, Juana does not see her children more than once or twice per year. One day, Juana meets Emily at a local community function. Emily is a director at a large charitable organization that helps mentor troubled youth. Juana feels strongly about the activities of the charity and has a long discussion with Emily about "all the good things the charity does for youth". As a result, Emily asks Juana if she would make a donation to the charity in her Will. At first, Juana is not sure, but Emily persuades Juana it would be a good idea.
A few weeks later, Juana is sitting at home and thinking about the charity and her Will. She wonders why she hasn't spoken with or seen her children in months (even though she just spoke with them a few weeks ago) and comes to the conclusion that they must not love her. As a result, Juana writes the following on a piece of paper in her own handwriting: "I am Juana Martinez. This is my Will. Because my children do not love me, I am leaving my entire estate to the Erath Charity for Troubled Youth." Juana signed her name at the end of this statement.
Unfortunately, Juana died a few months later. When her children came to collect her belongings, they found the ocument purporting to be her Will. The children were devastated by what they read and decided to challenge the Will in court.
What legal issues would you anticipate being argued in court regarding the above scenario? Please discuss the merits (for and against) of each argument. Finally, please explain how you would rule in this case if you were the judge. Again, be sure to fully explain the legal basis for the conclusions.
