- Understand the market in which your company operates and creat a list of critical success factors for this market.
- Now it's time to start your SWOT analysis. For each element lists three to five critical factors. Order these by most important to least important. Including a weighting factor to each rating helps identify what is critical. Remember a strength may also be a weakness and an opportunity may also be a threat. Be sure to explain why you chose each factor and the basis for your choice. You may provide examples if needed.
- After having completed your SWOT analysis, rate the company's future. You may provide multiple ratings that consider the short-term and long-term predicted success of this company. Explain the reason for your rating.
- How confident are you in your work? How much of your professional reputation and personal fortune would you be willing to bet on your work? (This question deals with your level of confidence, not the company's success.)
As always support your work with source references from reliable sources such as the news, industry/trade journals, academic or business publications.
