I need to move soon, so I have a specific amount of money I need to save. I need to save $3000 by the end of May. That means I have to save from each paycheck. If I roughly make $600 weekly, and I have eight weeks before the end of May, I need to save about 63% of each paycheck to make sure I have enough money. 600x.63=378. 378x8=3,024 Another situation where I find myself doing basic math is adding time.
