2. Find three creditable articles on your chosen topic based on the requirements laid out below.
3. Write a yardstick report in which you establish criteria by which you assess which of your
chosen articles provides the best coverage of your chosen topic for a general reader (i.e., an
educated reader who is not necessarily an expert on your chosen topic).
a. A yardstick report can be defined as follows: a report that examines a problem (finding an
effective article on your chosen topic) which has several solutions (three different article
types and choices) and which establishes criteria by which to comparatively find the best
