Katima Candy CC is a confectionery that manufactures various sweets and candy from the syrup. Syrup is the raw material used in manufacturing and is purchased in kilograms. 1. On 31 December 2020, 300 kg of raw material and 350 kg of finished goods were on hand.

2. Normal production capacity is 2,000 kg of finished goods per year.

3. Due to an increase in the consumer's health awareness, the market share for sweets and candy has been declining. As a result, management is forced to reduce the future selling price to N$160 per kg and the selling costs are expected to be N$9 per kg.

4. Inventory is valued on a first-in, first-out basis.
