KDOT is planning a new I$435$ bridge over the Kansas River in Shawnee Kansas at $39\mathrm{.}045951,-94\mathrm{.}789428.$ The $1,800$ foot long, $50-$foot wide bridge will be a steel girder structure with $9-200$ foot spans. Fills of up to $10$ feet will be required at the south abutment and $35$ feet at the north abutment to develop the roadway grades. Footing loads will be on the order of $3500$ kips for the Strength Limit and $2000$ kips for the Service Limit. Bridge foundations could be comprised of spread footings, driven H Pile or drilled shafts.
