Keni is a renowned dalo farmer in Tekiteki Village. Keni takes his produce to the market and sells it regularly. One morning while Keni is waiting for his truck to load 20 bags of dalo at the roadside, he meets Nemani, who operates a village café. Nemani's café is open on days when the tourist bus comes to the village. Nemani and Keni exchange pleasantries. Nemani informs Keni that the dalo he supplied to him on the last occasion was really nice and that all his customers enjoyed the dalo chips he made out of it. Nemani asks Keni the price for a bag of dalo and Keni replies that it is $50. Nemani responds that $50 is too much for him and that he would buy it from Joni another village dalo farmer. After 3 days Nemani meets Joni and Joni informs him that due to the recent flooding, the dalo price has gone up and he is getting $70 for a bag of dalo in town. Nemani rushes to Keni's farm and tells him that "I would give $45 for a bag". Keni said "$45 is too low, I will make it $50 per bag if you take 10 bags". Nemani said "Ok I will take it." The next morning Nemani comes with the money to collect 10 bags of dalo but Keni no longer wishes to sell to Nemani, as he is getting a better price for the dalo in town. Nemani is threatening Keni by telling him that they have entered into a binding agreement and that Keni is obliged to sell 10 bags of dalo to him.
