Key Terms: Accessing FSA Data, WRDS Lab Insight: The purpose of this lab is to build a comprehensive financial model using the Wharton Research Data Services (WRDS). This comprehensive lab starts with raw financial statements and then in subsequent labs (1) develops standardized financial statements including the statement of cash flow, (2) builds key financial ratios, (3) builds forecast inputs to forecast financial statements, and (4) builds discounted cash flow and residual income valuation models based on the forecasts. In an attempt to provide some standardization across students and platforms, we'll work through a standardized financial statement template. Although you are free to build your financial model in whatever form you wish, please keep the standardized financial statement line items in the base template.
