What You Should Submit

Following the instructions given during the SEO and Keyword Research lectures, create a targeted

keyword list of at least ten long$-$tail keywords that you think could viably provide traffic to a blog post.

For each keyword on the list, you$$ll need to submit the following information:

$1.$ The User Intent for the term

$2.$ The estimated monthly traffic

$3.$ A $$competition$$ rating $($and the keyword tool you used to provide that information$)$

a$.$ Many tools will have a scale of $0-100$ rating the competition.

b$.$ Others will rate them $$low$$ to $$high$.$

$4.$ Relevant pages that rank highly

a$.$ You don$$t need to list every result on the SERP, but give me either the top $2-3$ results,

the featured snippets, or relevant competitors

$5.$ Any relevant content observations

a$.$ See the questions from Step #$3$ of the Keyword lecture

$6.$ A few sentences describing how a blog post could address this keyword

a$.$ This is the one people tend to mess up$.$ You aren$$t looking for keywords to bring

customers with the intent to purchase to your home page, you are looking for keywords

that would get potential customers to read a blog post you wrote!

b$.$ Multiple keywords may address the same$/$similar blog post ideas, just tell me how a blog

post addresses that SPECIFIC keyword.

The best format for this is a bulleted$/$numbered list in a word doc, but anything easy to read is fine.

Requirements for the Keywords

$$ Must be a long$-$tail keyword of at least three words

$$ Each keyword must be demonstrably unique from the others on the list

o If the SERPs for both keywords return the exact same results, they aren$$t different

enough for this project.
