You remember Maha Jay from occasional previous correspondence with White Oaks Flesort. although your main contact had always been Rebecca Noel. About this time every year. the Corporate Events department at White Oaks Resort sends you an information package about their meeting teclities and speciat event deals. and you've Just received that package in today's mail. The folder includes a glossy full- oolour booklet that describes the guest rooms, dining. and meeting facilities at the resort. as well as the other amenities such as the spa. pools. beach front. and hiking trails. The folder also includes various pamphlets advertising local activities and events that your meeting participants could enjoy. such as horseback riding. theatre. museums, shopping. and sailboat cruises- There is a pre-printed sheet outtining some of the prices for booking the various White Oaks Resort facilities and a letter inviting you to hold your company's meetings there again this year. The letter is signed by Maha Jay. the new Corporate Events manager. Maha Jay added a brief handwritten note to the bottom of the letter stating that she plans to give you a follow-up phone call within the next two weeks to begin discussing the arrangements for your company retreat. You look the package over one more time with a little regret. and hope that the company may be able to return there for its retreat in the future.
