Label Each Question:
Find an article published in an academic journal that addresses some research topic using statistical analysis. Access the TAMUC library by following the "Library" link on the menu on the left-hand side of this screen. Tour the entry page and navigate to the online journals. Once there find the search box and use termssuch as "business," "economics," "performance," or ANY other termof interest to locate articles of interest. You can also search for a journal by title, and then search within that journal to find an article.Once you locate an article of interest, open a thread in this discussion forum and copy the article's bibliographic data into the textbox. Then answer two questions:
1. What question(s) do(es) the author(s) attempt to answer?
2. What statistical technique is used to answer the question? You may be unfamiliar with the technique but can find a description of it in the methodology section of the paper.
The goals for this activity is for you to demonstrate ability to find a quantitative article and to locate the technique. Thus, no summary or analysis is necessary. I provide an example below.
