Laboratory Exercise Application of Architectural Viewpoints Objectives: At the end of the exercise, the students should be able to: - Create a simple enterprise architecture model using different viewpoints; and - Assess the importance of using different enterprise architecture viewpoints in a design. Materials: - Web browser, Microsoft Word, and the latest version of the Archi application - Internet connection Instructions: 1. Create a new document in Microsoft Word with the name format 07LAB_LastName_FirstName (ex. 07LAB_Reyes_Mika). This will serve as your answer sheet and will be collected by your instructor. 2. Select two (2) from the 17 design viewpoints in ArchiMate language that can be found in 07 Handout 1. Then, open the Archi application. 3. Design a simple model of a telecommunications company based on the viewpoints that you have selected. Then, answer the following items for each model: a. In more than three (3) sentences, explain the model that you have designed. b. What is the importance of this viewpoint in a telecommunications company? Note: Label the models accordingly
