Last week, you started the initial planning for Tony and Peggy Sue's wedding as their project manager. This week, you have met with the families and presented your initial plan. They have approved it and asked you to continue your work on the wedding.

Both families are concerned that Tony & Peggy Sue's wedding planning is straying from their family's traditions. They want it done their way without considering what Tony or Peggy Sue would want. Your job is to plan the wedding using project management tools and techniques.

Your Required Actions:

1. Develop an estimated duration for each activity.
2. Estimate the duration for each activityand establish project start and completion times.
3. Determine the critical path and identify the activities that make up the critical path. Responses can be presented in a list of activity names, highlighted in the network diagram, or highlighted in the schedule table.
4. Address these questions within your submission:
   • Why is it important to determine the critical path of a project?
   • What happens if activities on this path are delayed? Accelerated?
   • Discuss the purpose of a network diagram and how this tool helps the project manager and team. (See week 4 for information on network diagrams.)
