Learning Objective: Examine a project life cycle and be able to differentiate its components

Our text describes the phases of the project life cycle as: Selecting and Initiating, Planning, Executing $($Includes monitoring$/$controlling$),$ and Closing and Realizing.

Choose a fictitious project and provide a short description of it$.($Example: My fictitious project is building a shed for my back yard$)$

Describe $2-3$ examples of activities that you envision happening in each of the four life cycle phases.

Using Exhibit $1\mathrm{.}1$ as a guide, what are the major deliverables $($stage ending gates$)$ that take us from one phase to the next in a predictive project life cycle? Provide at least two examples of major deliverables at the end of a phase for your fictitious project.
