Verbs indicate action, and Bloom's taxonomy is a method of categorizing action verbs (Figure 6.1). Reflect on the verbs listed and gauge your project intervention. Your goal for the intervention is to apply evidence, analyze and evaluate outcomes, and create an improved healthcare outcome. The SMART strategy for writing objectives is applied in multiple disciplines. The letters represent a required component of a good objective. Use the SMART strategy to ensure that your project objectives are well developed (Smart Sheet, n.d.).
