Let f:RR and g: RR be two functions. Suppose that is a decreasing function and fg is an increasing function. Can g be an increasing function? (For this question, I understand, after looking some things up, that if f and g are both decreasing, fog would be increasing. If fis an increasing andgis a decreasing functionandfogis defined, thenfogwill bedecreasing. So would that be the same if g was decreasing and g is increasing? I mainly need help finding examples to support this however this is the most I understood and not really sure on how to provide proof)
