Let P BTC and Q BTC first years compounds at P per month for terms with monthly deposits. and years compounds Q monthly for months till the end of year while also compounding the previous year P deposits. I got the first sigma notation to be top index bottom index: k term is PrK but have trouble figuring out what steps to take for the second sigma notation i know one of the terms will be QrK like the first one but how should i go about showing that the previous year deposits are being compounded but not being deposited going forward.
