Lets continue with our qualitative research problem of why customers do not use Internet Banking. Here is an abbreviated example of a Data Collection and Analysis section for this problem.
Data collection and analysis will be by research question with their related interview questions. The research questions focus on why customers do not use Internet banking; how trust in the bank influences a customers choice about using Internet Banking; and how privacy is an issue as to why a customer does not use Internet banking. Interviews will be conducted at the participants workplace, or a site mutually agreed upon by the researcher and the participant and will last approximately one hour. The interviews will be recorded. The researcher will transcribe the recordings. Analysis of the recordings will be performed by the researcher and a colleague familiar with the problem. The data will also be subjected to NVivo software for analysis. From the three sets of themes the researcher will determine the final set of themes related to each research question.
