Let's use this discussion to discuss any problems you are having with the material as you prepare for the midterm exam.

Also, please, post your ideas and opinions about this class, its assignments, quizzes and exams. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

example:

Good morning Class,

I have an overall positive opinion of this class. I especially like that the discussion post prompts are often hypothetical or conceptual. This made it easier to write posts that were different from our classmate's posts in some way, instead of us all repeating the same ideas and having to respond to the same content in each post. Also, it made it interesting to read the different answers to the same open-ended questions because the question would be open enough for the answer to be interpreted in different ways. I learned so much from reading my classmates' posts on chapter conceptual questions, and it was productive to hear their opinions about my posts, especially because they can relate their content on a different topic to mine.

Additionally, I appreciate how the questions for the weekly assignments reflect similarly to the questions on the quizzes. That gives me more confidence that I don't need to think too hard about how to set up free-body diagrams because I had seen some version of the question before, therefore I can expect how complicated it will be.

I find the lecture videos quite helpful and not overwhelming. While I appreciate their conciseness, I would like to suggest that they are a little more elaborate or include a little more review. For example, an exercise could include details for sig-figs in the answer, or could go into a little more detail with some of the trigonometry involved in the mathematics. One thing I really appreciate in the past few lecture videos is the explanation of the units and conversions. For example, seeing how a velocity's unit and a time unit come together and make an acceleration unit helps me understand and remember why it is measured that way.

Overall, I am learning a lot from this course, and I hope to continue to keep up with the material. I hope to hear the rest of your opinions soon!
