A shipment was delivered to the Walnut Caf. Alyce, who was in charge of receiving, immediately inspected the shipment but had to wait an hour before putting the shipment away because it got busy in the dining room. Once she had time, she moved the frozen chicken into the freezer where she left the door open in case there was more product to store.

Alyce then loaded a case of guacamole on the dolly and wheeled it over to the reach-in cooler. When she opened the cooler, she noticed that it was tightly packed. However, she was able to squeeze the case into a spot on the top shelf.

Next, she wheeled several cases of steak and fresh shrimp over to the walk-in cooler. When Alyce walked into the cooler, she noticed that lettuce was sitting on top of a case of thawing chicken. She immediately threw the lettuce away and then made a space for the steak on a shelf next to the door. Alyce was able to put the shrimp on the shelf above the recently prepared salsa. Then she spent a few minutes talking to Mary, who had just cleaned the shelving in the unit and was lining it with new aluminum foil.
