Imagine your supervisor has asked you to write a long report on an industry-related topic. This person is the reader of your long report. Consult Kolin, Chapter 9 (listed in the assigned readings) for more information and a sample long report. You will eventually write a report based on your topic that meets the following criteria: Addresses a specific topic and is targeted toward a specific reader(s). Is approximately 4-5 (single-spaced) pages in length--just the report itself. . Please note the 4-5 page length requirement refers ONLY to the Introduction/Discussion/Conclusion/Recommendation. Contains outside research (at least 4 sources) that is cited according to APA and documented within the report through the use of in-text citations and references. Contains 2 original visuals (that you create in Excel) Contains assigned front matter and back matter (see chapter 9 for examples). Front matter should include a title page, table of contents, list of illustrations, and an abstract. o Letter of transmittal is NOT required. - Back matter should include references.
