M07 Discussion - Practice Operations Module 6 (POM6)

You have now conducted POM6 many times.

Share your experiences with your fellow students.

In this discussion you will answer each of the following questions by clicking the 'Reply' button and responding to each question. You will then respond in a substantive manner to at least two (2) or your classmates. You will have posted your resulting scores and you may choose to share those with your classmates but are not required to do so. However, you may have to refer to your results to be able to answer the questions and engage in a meaningful discussion.

Discussion Questions

1. Overall, what challenges have you experienced in Practice Operations?
2. What tips, tricks, hints, etc. worked for you that you could provide that might help others?
3. What tips, tricks, hints, etc. did not work that you could provide to others so that they might avoid the same pitfalls?
4. What have you learned (briefly) from Practice Operations?

Initial posting is due by Thursday, July 18th and responses are due by July 21st.

Your initial posting should consist of a minimum of one (1) full paragraph for each question, at least one (1) final, full paragraph summarizing your thoughts regarding the discussion board questions, and at least one (1) paragraph with your reaction to the Practice Operations simulations. This means you will have at least eight (8) full paragraphs to write. You must use proper grammar, spelling and punctuation. In addition to your initial posting to the discussion board, you will be required to post a substantive response to at least two (2) of your classmates' postings. A "substantive" response is one that adds significantly to the discussion by: 1) building on others' comments; 2) suggesting alternative solutions; 3) pointing out problems; or 4) constructively disagreeing.
