Case analysis provides a significant vehicle for applying business concepts and theories. Case analysis requires critical evaluation (including interpretation) of both facts and logic to allow productive case discussions. The goal is to enable you to apply the information that we have discussed to these real-world situations to apply the concepts and principles presented in the course.
In particular, the case studies provide valuable opportunities to participate and develop strategic skills in sustainability. In evaluating your contributions to case discussions, the following questions:
- Have you read and analyzed the case in-depth?
- Do you use the case data constructively to analyze sustainability issues and make recommendations?
- Do you use management sustainable organizations concepts and frameworks taught in the course to analyze the case usefully?
- Do you present useful recommendations justified by your analysis and/or by the class discussion?
